Mid 18th C. (c1750) Small Ale glass.


Single part construction: Trumpet bowl drawn down to plain stem, flattened foot with substantial folded rim. English flint glass with rough snapped pontil scar. The bowl has been naively wheel etched with bird and flower with ribbon garland below rim at a later date. Good striations to bowl and foot with occasional small air bubble and inclusions to bowl.

Height: 11.8 cm. Bowl diameter: 5.7 cm at rim. Foot diameter: 6 cm
