(c1900) Late Victorian German ‘Roemer’ type wine glass (1 of 6). Colour derived from burnt bracken used during the production of ‘soda’ glass. Three-part construction, small cup bowl over collar, central blade knop, second collar to an inverted, drawn, hollow trumpet foot with wrythen decoration. Good striations to bowl with small seeds and occasional frit.

Height:  9 cm. Bowl diameter: 3.2 cms at rim. Foot diameter: 4 cm
