A 19th Century Victorian green glass scent bottle decorated with gilded strawberries with white enamelled leaves and stalks. It is of bottle form with an exaggerated collar fitted with a baluster shaped stopper, also in green glass. Originally the stopper carried horizontal gilded decoration, now badly worn. The collar also carries scratching of undetermined cause. The base has a ground out pontil scar, has scrub marks on the outer rim commensurate with its age and originally carried a gilded monogram identifying the maker or decorator. Overall condition is particularly good apart from blemishes already described.
