A miniature ruby glass octagonal bottle with a star cut base capped with a heavily embossed silver top hinged to a hallmarked silver collar. The hallmarks are Birmingham (anchor), date letter ‘Gothic e’ (1880) and the makers mark CM for Charles May. The bottle carries a clear glass stopper. In good condition, the bottle has some small chips to the base but is otherwise undamaged.
