A Chinese green glass perfume bottle cased in heavy filigree silver work of chrysanthemum flowers, buds and leaves with similar neck collar and fitted stopper. The base carries the identity mark WH90 (WH=Wang Hing 90=Silver content) and Chinese character mark for the individual silversmith or workshop (unidentified). Date undetermined (c1890 ?) but the Wang Hing company was active in Hong Kong and Canton from 1875 to 1925. The cork stopper is original but worn due to shrinkage and age.
